A small tabletop arrangement built from moulded plastic foliage — maple leaves, chrysanthemum heads, a pomegranate and a squat pumpkin, wired together over a shallow base in the shape of a bonsai. The colours run through rust, ochre and deep red rather than the flat orange most artificial autumn pieces settle for, and the leaves are set at varying angles so the silhouette has some depth from across a room.
It is sized for a desk, a shelf or a bedside table rather than a dining centrepiece — one piece per order, meant to be the single seasonal object in a room instead of part of a display. It sits well on a study desk or a hall console, where a real plant would need watering and a cut arrangement would be dead by November.
Indoor only; the plastic will fade in direct sun over a season. Dust it with a soft brush and it packs away flat enough to keep in a box between years. Vandora would rather one considered piece than a table covered in them.
