Silk chrysanthemum heads on wired stems, with the petals layered tightly enough at the centre to hold the domed shape a real chrysanthemum has. Four colourways — autumn orange, yellow, milk white and black — and the fabric takes light the way a petal does rather than going glossy under a lamp.
Sold in bunches of two or four stems, which is the useful quantity for a small vase or for padding out an existing arrangement rather than filling one on its own. The stems are wired, so they hold a bend; a few in a narrow glass on a hall table is the easiest way to use them. The black is worth a thought for a Halloween table — it reads graphic rather than gimmicky next to the orange.
Indoor use. Shake out the petals when they arrive, as they compress in transit, and dust them occasionally with a hairdryer on cold. Vandora goes for warmth over novelty.
