A figure cast in resin, the head and shoulders formed from layered autumn leaves with a witch's hat set on top. The casting holds the leaf edges crisply enough that the form reads as foliage rather than as a textured surface, and the finish is matte so it avoids the shine cheap resin usually carries. Four designs are made, each with a different arrangement of leaves and a different tilt to the hat.
These are tabletop pieces and they work in a group. One on its own on a mantel is quiet; three at staggered heights along a console or down the centre of a dining table is the arrangement the design is really for.
