A watercolour landscape printed on canvas — a golden field running back to a line of trees, with the wash left soft at the edges and the horizon kept low. The palette is muted throughout: wheat, ochre and a grey-green, with none of the saturated orange that most autumn prints reach for.
Twenty-three designs in the series, all treating the same subject differently, so several hung together read as one body of work. The 20 × 30 cm size suits a shelf ledge or a tight grid; 30 × 42 cm frames as A3 and is the safest choice for a hallway; 50 × 70 cm is the size that will hold a wall on its own above a sofa or a bed.
Unframed and shipped rolled, so leave the print flat under a weight for a day before framing. Machine printed on canvas, not painted. Vandora prefers the honest version of a thing to a flattering description of it.
