This is a shade, not a complete fixture. Paper rope is woven by hand over a geometric former, producing a wide shallow shape 32 cm across and 14 cm deep with visible ridges where the rope doubles back. Light passing through it is broken up by the weave, so the ceiling and walls catch a fine texture of bright and dark rather than a single wash. It weighs 300 grams, which is light enough to hang from an existing pendant cord.
