The LED Mushroom Table Lamp takes its shape from the amanita cap, a glossy aluminium dome set on a slim metal base with an acrylic diffuser underneath. The light itself is a warm 2700K, dimmable, and the dotted texture on the underside of the dome softens it further before it reaches the room. The dome sits slightly loose on its stem, so from certain angles it looks almost like it's floating above the base.
It sits naturally on a nightstand, a desk, or a low shelf where a lamp needs to do more than light a task. Because the silhouette is playful without being loud, it works in a minimalist room or a more eclectic one equally well, and it reads as considered even switched off. Kids' rooms and studio apartments both take to it for the same reason: it does the job of a lamp while looking like a small piece of sculpture.
It comes in two sizes: a larger wired version at 30 cm (11.8 in) high by Ø 20 cm (7.9 in), running on 110–240V through the included adapter, and a smaller cordless version at 20 cm (7.9 in) high by Ø 15 cm (5.9 in) that charges over USB-C. The dimmer lets you take it from a bright reading light down to a low bedside glow with the same fixture. Vandora stocks both so the lamp can move around the house as easily as it can stay put.
