Ridged glass in amber or olive green, blown into a wide shallow bowl 28 cm across and 16 cm deep. The ridges run vertically down the outside, so the surface breaks the light into soft bands as it comes through, and the tint gives everything below it a golden or greenish cast depending on which you take. Metal detailing at the cap is minimal and matte, which leaves the glass to carry the piece.
Wide pendants are for tables. Over a dining table this one lights the whole surface and leaves the room around it dim, which is what makes a dinner feel like an occasion rather than a meal.
