WoodAura Wall Light

Solid wood, carved by hand, with resin set into the cuts: that is the whole of the WoodAura Wall Light. The block measures 8 cm on every side, small enough to sit against a wall without announcing itself, and the grain runs differently on each one, so no two pieces scatter light the same way. The glow does not leave through a shade. It leaves through the resin seams, following the lines the carver made, which gives you a warm line of light rather than a lit surface.

It belongs where you want to notice the wall and not the fixture. Along a hallway at low height it marks the route without the flatness of a ceiling fitting. Beside a bed it gives enough light to find a book and not enough to wake anyone. Mounted at eye level near a doorway or in the corner of a living room, it reads as an object first and a light second, which is the reason to hang it there.

Warm white is the only tone it makes, and at this scale it works as an accent rather than a room light, so pair it with a table lamp or a ceiling fitting where you need to read.
